In Tallahassee, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Florida on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 12β9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Bagigio's at (850) 329-2970; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, bagigios.com.

Tallahassee is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Tallahassee is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We had the Caesar Salad - fairly good with fresh lettuce, carvings of parmasean and nice dressing, but the Pizza was the star. The oven is key - imported from Italy and only one of two in Florida. The crust (Einkorn dough) and the oven cook make this pizza unique and delicious. We ended with stone oven cheesecake (excellent) and Affogato - rich and creamy. Would recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

We drove over an hour just to try Bagigioβs, and it exceeded every expectation. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the aroma. It wasnβt the typical smell of a pizza restaurant, it was the incredible scent coming from their authentic Italian oven. We learned itβs one of only three known ovens of its kind in the United States, and you can truly taste the difference. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The tables are crafted from logs recovered from the Suwannee River, giving the entire place a unique character and atmosphere you wonβt find anywhere else. The pizza was outstanding. The dough is made from a yeast culture thatβs more than 200 years old, and it creates a crust unlike anything Iβve ever had. Honestly, the crust was the best part, light, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The cheese was incredible as well, with a richness and flavor that really set it apart. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan chicken wings with buffalo sauce, and they were hands down the best wings Iβve ever had. A special thank you to Peyton, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the restaurant, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely enthusiastic

We finally stopped here despite driving by the place many times on our way back from fishing. The interior is inviting and the pizza oven is very prominently displayed just behind the bar. We ordered two 10 inch NY style pizzas and they were very good. Nice dough and the pizzas arenβt floppy which I appreciate. I will absolutely come back and potentially try other menu items, but the pizza is awesome and they even do Chicago and Detroit style pizza as well.

Best Pizza I have had. Plus the staff are exceptional and the place is so fun. Love being able to watch the entire pizza making process with the open kitchen setup. Definitely need to try!!

This small but wonderful restaurant has the best pizza in the greater Tallahassee area, bar none! The dough is very special and has been kept alive for over 200 years. It makes a tasty. Slightly sweet crust which has a wonderful crew without being tough. A light. But flavorful splash of tomato sauce is a great complement to the myriad of possible toppings. Prices is reasonable and the staff could not be nicer and more solicitous to your needs. I will be back many times.
